a love story

There was once a bus driver, driving a group of young children home. He was nearing a steep slope when he realized that his break had become faulty. He knew that if he went down the slope at the current speed, the momentum would pick up and the bus would be overthrown into a riven at the bottom of the slope and everyone in the bus would die. The driver had to think fast. At the very moment, he remembered that midway down the slope, there was a opening to a relatively flat large field. If he could turn in, he would save the children.

The bus started to go down the slope, gaining in speed. The driver waited for the opening to come, and just as he was about to turn in, he saw a child playing in the middle of that opening. It was between the children in the bus and the child on the road, he had not much of a choice. He ran the kid over. The bus finally slowed down on the field and stopped. The children were saved.

The police, ambulance, and parents of the children arrived soon after. It was a heartwarming scene. Full of gratitude, the parents asked where the driver was. He was away from everyone else, seated on the field with his head between his legs, crying.

It turned out that the child playing in the middle of the road was his only son.

This story portrays the love of God for us, sacrificing his own son for us, the children on the bus. The child playing in the middle of the road did not have a choice to die, but Jesus did. Until you know how much Jesus means to God, then you will realize how much more we mean to him.

Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for me. I'll always be conscious of Your act of love that has given me what i am today.

for one last time

for one last time, we gathered as a club, seniors and juniors.
to sit down, have fun doing silly stuff together, laughing at dicky and lutfi's slut fights and leon's absolute comic-ness. and just have tears flow down our cheeks cause we know that things are changing.

farewell was today. and i'd have to give credit to the juniors for such a good one planned. all the things from the theme to the decor, to the food and the games, were all nicely done. even our air ticket was awesome. and the flight crew who attempted to give us more cold air by blowing air at us was hilarious. i loved the in-flight entertainment (: haha. thank you juniors for everything you guys have done to make this farewell such an awesome one. TJ Modern Dance wouldnt be where it is without you guys. and we wouldnt have had today without you guys as well. so i appreciate it alot(:

today the theme was hawaii. and i remember nicole saying: the past year we've been in dance was filled with laughter and happiness, just like a holiday to hawaii. which is why they chose this theme for farewell. nice. we had tons of fun today playing the games, and the food was delicious. the dancing of the juniors were really entertaining and nice as well. i loved the entrance when we were welcomed. really nice.

it started off on a good note where things were really just fun and light-hearted. laughing until we even teared. emotions of how we'd feel just moments away from really stepping down were way at the back of our minds. but soon enough when the video started showing, things went a different way. didnt expect myself to cry. but tears just flowed. and i couldnt gather myself to say what i needed to until the second para or so. so dancers, pardon me for that. TJ Modern Dance is special to me. and no words can describe exactly what that means, but its special(: i love every single one of you dancers, it made my 2years in TJ awesome. really awesome. i'll miss every single one of you. thank you for everything.

thank you juniors for the passport that held our memories and the towel to show that we've done well and its time to wipe off that sweat from dance and pick up the books for As. thanks for all the brain juices that were used to make this farewell such a nice one. it didnt matter anymore that it wasnt a dinner thing, nor did it matter anymore that we had it in school. but i thoroughly enjoyed myself. and i'm sure all the other seniors did. thanks for everything. really everything.

for one last time we danced together,
now the curtains have closed for us seniors
but its only just begun juniors.
give it your all
dance your heart out
and just let yourself shine through
shine so bright as yourself, as a team, as a club.

for dance for life.
